Forum Rules

We’re glad you could join us, and we’re looking forward to your contribution to this community.

We want this to be an engaging and informative fun and upbeat community open to all.

To make that possible, we need everyone to use common sense and be respectful to all.

Here are the rules & guidelines for using the iclick2learn.com.au forums:

Stay on topic. Make comments and questions relevant to the original post.  There are other forums for other topic areas that are connected to related courses.  If you are in a grant writing course you’ll be connected to the Grants and Tenders forum so social media marketing questions aren’t relevant in that forum for it’s members.

Be polite. Everyone likes to be treated with respect, so inappropriate language, harsh criticism, or demonstrating disrespect of others’ opinions are not allowed.

Report violations. Inform us of any behaviour or comments you believe breach these rules or those you may find offensive so that we can take appropriate action.

Don’t get drawn into arguments. Our Forums are not chat rooms, and we recommend that you avoid direct responses to others’ comments as that often leads to arguments. Someone else’s breach of the rules is not an excuse for you to respond. The best advice is to stay on topic and report violations.

Don’t be a troll and don’t feed trolls.  “Trolls” are people who post messages intended to cause drama. Trolls love drama – they cause it and encourage it.  Please ignore them. Report Trolls to us and we’ll take care of them.

Do not advertise.  Putting up a comment that promotes a resource is ok, but what’s not ok is intentional advertising for financial gain, either yours or for someone you know.  Our forums aren’t advertising hubs.

Don’t encourage law breaking. Sharing how to perform illegal acts is prohibited.

Do not impersonate or invade privacy. Impersonating other forum members, the iclick2learn.com.au staff, or anyone else for that matter will not be tolerated. Do not post private information about others.

We monitor interactions. Our student support team is here to help and provide suggestions and ideas as well so we actively participate in all forums and as such,  we monitor all interactions between you and other forum members.

We reserve the right to discipline or ban any Forum member for violating the rules, guidelines, and/or spirit of the Forums.

We only want fun people here. If you’re banned, the least that will happen is the closure of all accounts held by you.  Banned users are not permitted to return to the iclick2learn.com.au forums under any circumstance.

To each his own opinion. Content provided by members of our forums reflect the opinions and experience of those members, not iclick2learn.com.au or the staff or volunteers of iclick2learn.com.au.
