Course FAQs

How do I purchase a course (free or paid)

 

 

Click on the individual course on the home page or click on Courses in the main menu.

When you find the course you want to take, click on the orange button to the right of the course to proceed.

Enrol Now button to enrol in a FREE course

Purchase button to pay for a PAID course

Follow the prompts through to the checkout page and add your details to sign up as a student at the same time.

Check your cart for the correct items and don't forget to agree to the terms and conditions at the finish.

Then you will be redirected to your student dashboard to start your course.

How do I navigate through the course?

Student Dashboard

You can access your STUDENT DASHBOARD anytime by selecting the drop-down menu under your name in the top menu to:

  • view your course/s you are undertaking
  • message the instructor
  • download your certificate (if applicable)
  • update your profile

Course Instructor

The course instructor will regularly check and answer questions raised in the lesson discussion sections. You can easily follow any course discussion by selecting the ‘Notify of new replies to this comment’ checkbox under your new comment. To direct message your instructor, go to your student dashboard MESSAGE SECTION

Course Instructions

Navigate through the interactive sections by using the forward and back buttons under the slides

Select 'MARK AS COMPLETE' button after each lesson.

Select the 'NEXT' button to move to the next lesson.

You will see the lessons on the right sidebar will change from hollow circles to filled circles when they are completed.

Select the 'FINISH COURSE' button when you have completed all of the lessons.

To return to your student dashboard to access your courses anytime, click on dashboard icon in the top left of the course

A popup will appear with a link to download your certificate (if it is a certificated course). Alternatively, you can download your certificate anytime via your student dashboard and select 'MY ACHIEVEMENTS' icon


Student Dashboard

You can access your student dashboard anytime by selecting the drop-down menu under your name in the top menu to:

  • view your course/s you are undertaking
  • message the instructor
  • download your certificate (if applicable)
  • update your profile

To exit the course click on the house icon on the top left of the course

How do I get back to my student dashboard?

To access your dashboard from the website pages.

To access your student dashboard anytime, hover your mouse over your name at the top menu and select the dropdown 'My Dashboard', or just directly access by this DASHBOARD LINK

 

If you need to find your student dashboard from one of the website inner pages, take a look at the top right of the page to see if you are logged in or not.

If you are not yet logged in, click on the log in button and log in on the next screen. This will take you to your dashboard.

If you are logged in already, the message in the top right will be showing a welcome to your username. Hover over the welcome text and select my dashboard from the options available.

How to use your student dashboard

Once you are on your dashboard, on the left side, there are a number of icons to get you where you want to go.

The 4 main icons that you will need are the My Courses Icon, the message icon, The Achievements icon, and the Account details icon.

The first one we will look at is the My Courses icon.

This is basically the home button for the dashboard. Select it at any time to go back to the home if you are in any other part of the dashboard. The home screen is the default view when you sign in.

The second icon link that you could use is the mail icon.

Click on this mail icon to view messages from the course trainer, or send a message to the trainer.

Click on the compose button, then select the course that you want to send the message to and compose the message and then select send.

The third icon link that you could use is the achievements icon.

Click on this to view your course badges and certificates. You can download your certificate from here, or save your course badges by right-clicking on them and saving the image to your computer file.

The last icon that you might want to use is your Account details icon.

Select the Account details icon if you need to update your details and add a display image

One thing you won't be able to change is your username.

 

Where can I view and download my course certificate?

When you are in your student dashboard, click on the Achievements icon and you will be able to download your certificates, or just click HERE

Where can I view my course marks

To view your course marks (assuming your course is graded) then click on the Course Marks icon  in your student dashboard, or use THIS DIRECT LINK to view your results

Can I access the courses on my smartphone?

All courses can be viewed using all size devices including smartphones and tablets.

How does the course student support work?

Students can either connect directly with the trainer either by directly sending a message via the message functionality in the student dashboard, or commenting in the course discussions. If you would like to talk to student support, you can ask a question using the form on this page below.

 

How do I contact the course trainer

You can directly contact the course trainer via the message function in your student dashboard or use this DIRECT LINK. Simply select the course from the drop-down list and add your message and select the send button. 

Payments

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa and Mastercard for payments. Alternatively, you can pay via direct bank deposit and we will give you access to your course as soon as the payment is finalised.

I have made a direct bank deposit but I don’t have access to my course.

If you have made a purchase using the direct bank deposit option, it can take up to 5 working days to go through, so sit tight and as soon as the transaction is complete we will send you an email with a link to your course.
